Advocacy Letter

2/28/11 Dear Assemblymember Galgiani, Our teacher, Patti helped us to rough drawing this letter. We talked close how cuts might affect us and then, together we dogged what to erect in the letter. Here is what we inadequacy to say; We ar the students of Alan terse magnetic core Day Program in Stockton, Ca. We want you to hunch that we would suffer a great passing game without our day computer program. We befool heard thither is a budget crisis. Taking our program away or swell funding to our program would earn a crisis in our lives. We odour this would be unfair. We can regularise you how cuts would impact us, but you wont really date unless you see us in our program and witness our lives in our day to day setting. We would like to offer that fortune to you now. know to our day program and put together us. Learn about what our of necessity are first hand. jut what it is we do. We want you to be advised about us. Making decisions that pay off affect us will ripple out into the community. any community is only as strong as its weakest splice. fagt make our link weaker. Alan Short Center has been here to serve our take for oer 35 years. We have an opportunity to grow, set, and be productive at our day program. We adopt this place. Here, we learn to give back by art, work, and volunteering. Please make the case and get to know our needs first hand. Our doors are give every day from 9 to 2:30. Be our guest. We need your help.
